Is the D90's replacement to be launched in September/October 2010?

So far I see no price drop or any real bargains out there. I would have expected the D90 to drop in price to match the t2i but what do I know?

Do I wait for the new model to see if I can pick up a good deal?

look at the d80, the price is just now starting to come down, for the longest time a used one was so close to the price of a new d90 it made no sense to get the older body. you wont see the d90's price come down for a while, especially not before the replacement is out

They haven't exactly been keeping inventory up so high that the D90 bodies are languishing away on the shelves, and since they're preparing to launch the replacement, I doubt they're really burning the midnight oil producing vast quantities of new D90 bodies, either. Once the new one is actually available, and assuming the price and features are attractive, maybe then there will be a little movement on the D90 price, but I wouldn't expect much before then.
