Weekend shots

This weekend we visited our friends at their dacha. Fires from adjacent region brought a lot of smoke and it seemed that somebody has putted a filter to the sun... Smog was in the air.

    I enjoyed your series of photos --

    Your first one....looks like a hot long walk to the river. I too like your abstract taken from under the bridge.

    You must play an instrument...a musician would see musical notes in birds sitting on the wires :D I use to play the flute and piano...

    Yuri,
    It is not a fruit, that is the seed pod for the milkweed plant. You could search for milkweed seed pod or milkweed bug and you should be able to find some pictures that will verify identification of the plant and bug on it. Nice picture, makes me want to go out and do some shooting of local plants.
