I can see the bar code function being a big plus for certain types of photography and is a very innovative idea. I was hoping for more though, as I could possibly be in the market soon for a new body, and the 7D is tops of my list.

The new EOS 7DSV (Studio Version) Barcode Kit (EOS 7DSV and WFT-E5A with firmware change) will carry an estimated selling price of $ $2599. The EOS 7DSV (Studio Version) Body Only will carry an estimated selling price of $1829.

I was relieved to see nothing new added that would make me want it...I'm sure the features will be useful for some, but it seems like a strange announcement (more like something they could add via firmware to anything already out). I'd go 5DMII for that price anyway. :D
Canon 7D and some stuff that sticks on the end of it.
