I wouldn't do much either. I think it's prefect already. Very cute!

Ok, maybe 1 thing" I'd take away the "light beam" under the pants of his left leg. It somehow grabs my attention.

I like the shot very much. I also would up the blacks just a touch (but not much!). What a nice moment to have caught!

Thank you all for your nice comments! I will up the black a bit and work on the bright spot on his leg.
    Thanks again,

Love-love-love this photo... iloveyou.gif Tugs a bit extra on the heartstrings for me since my boy doesn't have his 'farfar'. I reallly can't think of anything wrong with it. clap.gif

This is precious! Great capture. I'll chime in with everyone on upping the blacks and taking out the grass highlight on the leg..Please post your edit, I'd love to see how it looks!

OK, here's the edit. Did I up the blacks enough? Thank you again for all of your input.

I'd go even further...push it to the max and back down gradually. There isn't much difference bw the orig and the edit. I'd love to see where this could go!

How's this? I was being very conservative. When they said "a bit" I wasn't sure what that meant. :-)

For my taste (and just my opinion, mind you), I prefer the first edit. It retains the hazy, warm, late summer day feeling of your original but has just a touch more definition. My two cents! Regardless, great picture!
