Hi guys! I would really appreciate any help I can get. I am a new power member, and am slowly getting my site built. My page is www.natureanwildlifeimages.com

I'm trying to customize slideshow on the home page and after several attempts and suggestions i decided to try the easy way out through the "Show Off"

I have read carefully about slideshow customizing on help section. Customizings trough "show off" are enough to cover my needs but does not work. Configured options works only inside the editing window. The new settings do not remain active in the gallery and on the home page where the gallery should be moved so the slideshow still be in the default setting.

I really appreciate any help.

Giuseppe

    Hi Guiseppe,

The Share > Show Off feature basically allows you to create code for an embeddable slideshow. This can be embedded in any webpage (blog, etc) or on your homepage if you like. The settings you configure here won't have any bearing on the gallery slideshow itself, though (ie, the slideshow gallery style, or the Slideshow button in the gallery). You'd need to embed the code somewhere, like in the Bio box on your homepage, in order for you to see the slideshow with the settings you configured.

I looked at your site, and it looks like you've now set up the "stretchy" homepage slideshow, so it looks like you found another option that works. Looks great, by the way!
