Buckhorn Hike

After a heavy schedule of a kitchen remodel (self-performed), load at work (involved with building a 50 story office building) and Church youth group activities, I finally took a moment this last week and went hiking with a friend.

We chose to climb Buckhorn Mountain in the Olympic Peninsula which is close by for us. Here are some shots enjoy and good to be back.

Thanks all. I was actually disappointed at first that I was doing a 5000 ft climb and not be able to see much - but it turned out great.

We actually got up at 3:30 am and climbed to the summit by moon light (really cool!) and waited for the sun rise across the clouds and fog. In fact here is one that was just as the sun was breaking the sky.
