Why isn't my header/nav bar showing up in my newest gallery?

I just uploaded a new gallery, and on top of all the problems going on right now with slowness, etc. I just noticed that my custom header and navbar aren't showing up. Instead I get the smugmug pro logo and navbar, along with a "photo hosting" link that goes back to smugmug!

This is awful; what would cause my navbar not to work in one particular gallery, and more importantly how can I fix it?

If you provided a link to that specific gallery, we could take a look and probably answer you without guessing. The first two guesses are that you should check your gallery settings and make sure "Hide Owner" is set to "Off" and "Appearance" is set to "Custom".

Oh great, I just noticed that I have the same problem with another gallery that I created earlier today... only this one is a weddnig portfolio gallery! Even worse... Here is the gallery:

Thank you! Both galleries had appearance set to "smugmug" instead of custom. However, I could have sworn that I had always left my galleries like that and never had this issue before... anyway, it's fixed now, so again, thank you very much.

EDIT: I don't know, I can't remember ever consciously changing the appearance to "custom"... perhaps it is supposed to default to that setting but didn't in this case?
