Bunch of java tabs opening up again with keywording

This has happened before, & now has been regularly happening over the last while, and definitely in the past couple weeks when I've been bulk keywording/captioning... whatever I add evidently opens up yet another "java" tab on the same tab-bar that my site name shows up on. In other words, each time I'm finished captioning, I would have to close over 100 or 200 java tabs if I did it individually! Lately I've just been shutting down my site & coming back, so that they all close. FF of course then always has to ask me if I want to shut down all those windows. I'm on FF & Vista. Don't know if it happens in IE. Will let you know... if I can bring myself to use IE.

I'm trying to imagine what a 'java tab' is can you please give a screenshot? Thanks.

Sorry, I haven't yet learned how to do screenshots. I've been shown... I just forget. Should tape it to my computer desk. Maybe I explained it better back on Nov. 14, 2009: "... whole bunch of javascript boxes are opening. I think this happens each time I select a photo from the list of thumbs, to have a change (caption or keyword) made before previewing/saving. Each time, I did not notice when it started until I had a whole collection of java boxes going across the entire top of my screen.. probably over 50! I think each box says Java:void or maybe javascript: void. I had to then manually click the "x" on each box to get rid of them. The first time I ever saw this bug was a few days ago.." here: http://www.digitalgrin.com/showthread.php?t=150351 .
Ok, you know how FF has tabs that open up on the upper left for each new page you're on? Like right now I just have one saying "Digital Grin Photography Forum...". Well, if I do bulk keywording, I'll select a thumb & get one of those "javascript: void" small message pages open up. So that opens a new tab (page, I guess) and then another & another until all I can read on each tab is the "jav...." because they're overlapping one another. I don't usually notice it happening until I'm nearly finished & then look up & they all have to be closed if I want to go back to the gallery. So I do the final save & then leave. The save can take a long time because of all those little error pages open at one time. [ETA: I just figured something out by watching the top of my screen more carefully. It's only opening the pages (tabs) saying "javascript: void(0)" when I use the control key. I'm in the habit of using it like I do on other pages when selecting thumbs, so that they don't "deselect" on their own when I select the next one, as happens with some tools. It looks to me as if I don't have to use the control key with bulk keywording though; the thumbs don't deselect. So I can just not use it if I can remember. I still don't think it should be opening javascript error pages, but anyway, a temporary fix of sorts!]
