Facebook quickshare?

hey everyone, i just checked out the release notes blog for the first time in a while and i was wondering what became of the facebook quickshare button?

i cant seem to get the like button shown in the preview image on my galleries.
thanks in advance for any help!

It got delayed and hasn't been released yet. Rumor has it, it may get released tonight.

Andy, I have my mobile site enabled in my control panel, but I noticed whenever someone clicks on a shared Twitter link using a Twitter iPhone app, it defaults to the full site instead. Same with the Facebook iPhone app. Meaning the content ends up not filling up their mobile screens & looks odd.

Is there a way show them the mobile version instead that's optimized for their screens? Cant Smugmug detect whenever someone is using a mobile browser & just serve up the mobile version of the linked content??

I hope so because most people using Twitter are using mobile apps.

Hi Sara, just like we say in our release note and the help page for the feature - simply go to your control panel, settings tab and turn them off. Easy peasy.

Though I'm surprised - you don't need to use facebook to like the feature - but your visitors may and that may draw more people to your pages and make you more $.
