For instance when you click "like" on a photo in my gallery:
http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/WMC2010/11710314_PrbwM#826381828_zJc2o

The link it directs you to on Facebook is:
http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/WMC2010/11710314_PrbwM#826381799_3WbCm

which takes you to the full gallery.

The link should be:
http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/WMC2010/11710314_PrbwM#826381799_3WbCm-A-LB

It appears to give the correct link for Twitter.

I do not know if this problem exists in other gallery styles - I only checked in thumbnail style.

I'm seeing the same problem as Eddie

I think I found a bug with the Facebook Quickshare, when I click on the Like button on one of my photos it posts the following links on Facebook, the first part of the link Wing Walker from Cleveland Airshow links to my gallery which is great, however the second part of the link doesn't take people to my home page, it links to Smugmug's home page instead even though the link is the address of my homepage??? If I hover over the link to my homepage on facebook it shows up on the status bar as the link to smugmug's homepage. You can see this for yourself by hovering over the address to my site in the link below and looking at the status bar.

Ron likes Wing Walker from Cleveland Air Show 2009 on http://ronskinner.smugmug.com.

I have the same problem but it doesn't do it on all of my photos. Some photos only have the first link. Some photos have the second link that shows my gallery url but then it actually links to SmugMug.

Actually, this is no bug - Photos can only have 1
link associated with them, so we can't change it w/o there being 2
    separate things that they're liking.

I guess I do not understand your answer. How is this feature supposed to work? If you click on a "like" button for a photo, shouldn't the link that gets placed on Facebook take you to the photo you liked?

Here is a new problem with the feature that I've found.

If I click on "like" for this photo:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Events/Go-Red-for-Women/12228571_qeV9N#871234153_pHEAn-A-LB

The link on facebook takes me here:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Events/Go-Red-for-Women/12228571_qeV9N#871234153_pHEAn

and then it does not even show the photo on the right panel.
    See:
    likebuttonlink.jpg

Edit to let you know this appears to work fine with Twitter.

And in this gallery, if I click on "Like" for this photo:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/SitePremiere/11593044_dHaEX#816969826_BgPgs-A-LB

The link on facebook will take me here:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/SitePremiere/11593044_dHaEX#816969826_BgPgs

To the full gallery, so the person clicking on facebook will have no idea what the person liked in the gallery.

Edit to let you know that this part of the feature appears to work correctly with Twitter.

If I click "like" under the photo in the display panel on this page:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Events/Go-Red-for-Women/12228571_qeV9N#871234153_pHEAn

I get a links on facebook that look like this:
    twolinks.jpg

If I click "like" under the display panel located here (same gallery):
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Events/Go-Red-for-Women/12228571_qeV9N#871234057_Hm3yt

I get a link that looks like this:
    onelink.jpg

I don't know if this helps, but when I use SmugMug "share" feature to generate gallery links, I found a problem with those links and Facebook.

Using the "share" feature, I generated gallery links. The Lightbox Gallery Link is:
    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/SitePremiere/11593044_dHaEX#816971083_eDgwX-A-LB

However, if I paste that same link into Facebook, the clickable link that appears in the Facebook feed takes me here:

    http://photos.humansafterall.com/Nightlife/SitePremiere/11593044_dHaEX#816970903_kiEqq

So maybe SmugMug links do not play well with Facebook?

Edit to say I just tried this in another gallery and the generated lightbox link worked fine. I am finding frequent inconsistencies like these when testing the different features on my site.

Whew! OK. I was beginning to think my site was jinxed because it shows as fixed on the SmugMug site updates.

The post on FB actually has two links. The first link goes to your photo in lightbox. The 2nd link goes to your gallery (which you force to Thumbnails style).

We'll see what might be able to be done here.

I still only see one link when I "like" a photo using this feature and it goes to the gallery and not the photo that is "liked".

    Do you know about this?

Yes we do. There's no more I can say other than what I've said many times already - we're trying some new tricks and we hope to have some enhancements soon, Nicole. You'll want to subscribe to our Release Notes blog, so that you don't miss a single update from SmugMug :)http://blogs.smugmug.com/release-notes/ at the bottom, there's a link for Entries (RSS) - put that in your favorite feed reader.

We've got some stuff in test now that we hope will make things even better for you.

Based on the release notes and what you wrote in the previous posts, it seemed as if you thought this was a resolved issue.

Glad to hear you are working on fixes, as nothing Facebook related appears to be working correctly for me at the moment.
