I made her be my model again :)

I told her that in our vows... "I Do" meant she would always be my model :)

Well... what do you think?

Is that when she started laughing? Looks to me like you made the best of the daylight sun's camera hating rays thumb.gif .

Great picture, especially considering the harsh sunlight, blond hair and a white shirt. GOOD JOB.

One minor nit pick, (and this is just for future reference, be aware of the body language your subject carries out; in this case the drooping cast forward shoulders.

    FWIW,

Thanks for your comments and critiques. The only way to get better, is to know what you can do to improve. I agree, she's not allowed to wear white shirts on photo days anymore!!!

I never would have thought about the body language before, but it makes complete sense now. Thank you for pointing this out.

I hope i can improve the next time.

when i got married i found out what I do really means:

I do garbage, i do shopping , i do cleaning, i do driving the kids everywhere... the list never ends!! rolleyes1.gif

Pretty wife, harsh conditions for shooting ( i know from experience), so anyway when u took this pic, did you check the histogram?? Many times i dont and then realize i should have but i do understand the reasons why we often dont. In the end - of course ilike the pic.. who wouldnt?

lets see more and more and more!!!

gee thanks... my wife piped up and asked if it included "I Do Dishes..." bah

anyway... unfortunately, I didn't check the histogram. I really need to learn how to read that thing. I'm sure it could do me quite a bit of good.

Still shooting with my 717 (airplane)... until i can afford my 20D (Under Garment)

    Thanks for the kind words

Steve, cmon if i remember correctly you are familar with Shay Stephens and his information on histograms is required reading ( not really but IT HELPS ! ) So now Steve, take another "vow" to read up on the histogram...

BTW, im only suggesting this beacuse it says on your avatar - here to learn...

I am definately going to read up on it. I really want to pursue this side of photography. I love people. I love the interaction and capturing emotions and character.
