Quick question for some of you folks who have been around on SM for awhile.

What is the best file type to upload to the galleries. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume that full size at 240-300dpi is best size to upload for printing. I'm using Bay for my lab and smallest offering currently is 16x20.

dpi does not matter at all on Smugmug. It is simply not used by the web browser or by Smugmug or by either of Smugmug's printers. What matters is how many pixels you have and you will get the best prints and the most flexibility if you don't downsize your images at all. Just post process them at their original pixel count and then upload those. Do NOT resample to change the number of pixels. Do not do any post processing operations to try to set or change the dpi. Just leave it at whatever it comes out of the camera at. It does not matter and trying to change it can degrade your image if you don't do it right.
