Last weekend my fiance and I braved the long country drive out to his grandmother's house. I had brought my Canon along for the trip to yield some gorgeous shots of the stunning 82 year old.
Day 2, we decided to walk the 3 mile hike back into the woods to a secluded pond she had built. Fishing is generally an all day event, so I left the camera back at grandma's house since the forecast was telling us scattered thunderstorms were in the area.
When we finally hit the clearing and saw the pond in the distance, I was stunned at the view! Cursing myself over and over for not bringing the Canon, I whipped out my trusty LG Dare (shameless plug) and caught this photo.
I'll be keeping my eye on the weather for future visits to grandma's and I'll definately be taking my camera back into the woods.
Isn't this secluded area so tranquil? It was gorgeous.
