Angelus Rosedale Cemetery Shoot

I went on a photo shoot to a couple of our local cemeteries. These pictures are from Angelus Rosedale, which was the first Los Angeles cemetery to permit all races to be buried there (after Hattie McDaniel's death -- Hollywood Memorial had refused her body, as it was a "white only" cemetery).

I found some amazing grave markers while I was there

    Howdy,

    Looks like a very interesting Cemetery with untold amount of stories.

    The things that make it so neat are also the things that make it hard to

    get good clear shots of the Gravestones and Sculptures.

    You might try some selective focus and

    possible darkening around the periphery to

    cut out the distracting background. Also,

    B&W might be an interesting thing to try.

    I'll not mention the distracting signature line
    which I am not fond of

    it's a great old cemetery. location for many a TV show and movies. I've enjoyed exploring there myself.
