Google Analytics

Hi all, new here, hope everyone is happy :)

I just have an issue with Google Analytics and comparisons to smug stats

In the past week I have only had 1 visitor according to GA, but my stats here paint a different picture, with over 1025 photo views. Of course it could mean that the 1 person has spent hours looking over my photos but according to GA they only spent a few mins on the site. Am I missing something here?

    Do you have any photos that are direct linked to other sites (like image links embedded in a forum)? If so, those will not be reported in Google Analytics (it only reports page loads on your site), but are reported in Smugmug.

    Also, if you have any services that connect through the API (Roku, photo sharing, downloaders, etc) that also goes toward you SmugMug stats. Google Analytics only track people who physically visit your SmugMug site.

    Hi, not that I know of. Will keep a closer eye on it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes
