RMNP - Day 3 - Colorado River headwaters

Reflections off a beaver pond which feeds into the Colorado River headwaters. This has been an educational trip. I learned that the Colorado River begins in the Rocky Mountain National Park on its 1440 mile trip to the ocean and passing through the Grand Canyon along the way. It would be neat to be a bug on a leaf and make that trip. :

Alpine Colors and Textures
This photo was taken along Trail Ridge Road in the Alpine section. I was really amazed at all the colors and textures which made up the trundra of the Alpine section above the tree line. This shot was taken near the Lava Cliffs.
