Removing sun spots

The sun was killing me this past Friday night. Can anyone help me remove these glares. I've searched for tutorials, no luck. I use PSE and Lightroom.:scratch

Maybe try this technique:

It's not going to be perfect because you would be sampling from a less smooth background than Andy's example, but it's a pretty quick way of getting rid of much of the problem if the background isn't that important.
