2010 trip to DC Cherry Blossom Festival

Finally got around to processing these. This was our 5th year going. Up until now, we've had this one tree the kids have posed in every year. This year we found the branch had been cut off, so they had to stand up. Rather disappointing. Here are the 5 in order.
Try to ignore the awful composition on the last one. We were able to get tickets for the Washington Monument and despite the condition of the windows up there, took a couple shots that just might work:
From the Tidal Basin - another "model" shot
Making good use of the ultra wide angle (I think I might have been lying on the ground)
I always keep my eye open for something different - here's what I found this year at the Lincoln Memorial - what do you think?
