Gallery slideshow view

For the first time I have set slideshow as the default view of one of my galleries. It's a nice feature and lets viewer choose to go forward and backward and jump among pictures when they put their mouse pointer over the slideshow. Observation: it seems that when I move my mouse pointer away from the slideshow, it takes quite a while for the photo navigation bar to hide itself - sometimes it's so slow that the slide has already advanced to the next one. The forward/backward/pause buttons disappears quickly enough. The question is then - is there a way to control the auto-hide delay of the photo navigation bar? For me, the optimal is to auto-hide immediately after the mouse pointer moves outside of the slide show. Thanks!

My original issue is, when the mouse is moved away from the slide show, the thumbnails bar does not disappear quickly enough to show the slide. I searched and it seems I'm the first one reporting it. Is there a way to make the thumbnail auto-hide immediately when the mouse move away? I don't believe a delay more than half a second is warranted - when a viewer moves the mouse away the intention is to view the full photo, yet the thumbnail bar obstructs the view often until the slideshow flips to the next photo.

Thanks, John.
If so, is this a proper channel to create an item in the wish list, or is there another forum I should be posting in, if my intention is to somehow maximise the chance that this change will be made?
