Castillo De San Marco was built by Spain started 1672 completed 1695...in St. Augustine, Florida....It is the oldest masonry fort and the best preserved example of a Spanish colonial fortification in the continental United States....Tho it is scarred from many different wars and battles over it's 300 yrs it was never defeated.

Cool shot. How tall are the walls? Since there's no other point of reference in the frame, it's a little hard to get a sense of scale. The visible texture of the grass gives a hint that it is not very high, but I'm not sure that's reliable. headscratch.gif
