I guess two questions...1) Does Canon make such a thing? I cannot seem to find one compatible with the 50D anywhere. And Assuming Canon does not, can anyone recommend another manufacturer to me?
Right now I'm simply using the self timer and would like to step up to a remote.
Appreciate any feedback from the group.
Thank you,
Chris

Pocket Wizard looks like a great tool, but could be more than I need at this time. I just need to trigger the camera remotely. Any other suggestions?
You can find wireless shutter releases on eBay. That's where I got mine. Doesn't look beautiful but it works.

heres a link to the vendor i bought 2 sets from. You need two sets to trigger shutter and remote flash.

This is the one I bought after Art's suggestion. Can't beat the price and it works.

I have seen some of these options on ebay as of a few minutes ago. I'll be doing some shopping!
Again, my thanks.
