Female version of this most popular "Ruby Throat" , I believe
Two excellent captures Ben. Not too bad for such an ederly shooter. :rutt

How long did it take you to chisel this from stone, Harry?:D
Thanks Ric but I chiseled it out of wood not stone, they're Wood Storks.

Well if that ain't the Pot callin the Kettle Black
Here some that appear in Ballona Wetland Flyers
And here's a famous/infamous clipping shot
The second image is awesome
and the last is the finest example of head clipping since Dr. Guillotone hit town.

This was my first sale when I dabbled in stock photography
The National Parks Service bought this image for a brochure for a Minnestoa Park. The parks dude said "This is a picture that says America!".
I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was taken at a Florida landfill and the eagle was diving to land there so that it could rummage through the trash.
This didn't make me any $ but it did raise some $ at a charity auction. I titled it "You Left the Seat Up Again".

Thanks for the laugh, Harry
Still chuckling over the caption on the last Eagle picture, and the story that goes with the diving Eagle.
And.. beautiful, beautiful pictures.
