I'm sorry you're having problems with our site! Our bad! We have had a couple rough patches in the past month and I sincerely apologize.

Our operations team is looking into any possible issues right now.

Come on. Sheaf is a software engineer who's not responsible for the ops stuff. He's just trying to respond to someone having problems and say that ops is looking into things now. If he knew more, he would probably share it. Would you rather he not respond? It seems like your anger at Smugmug is causing you to jump on the messenger here who is just trying to be helpful.

For the record, Smugmug clearly is in a rough patch right now and it remains to be seen if they're going to focus the right resources on the issue and make things a lot better. But, it's not helpful for you to jump on Sheaf.

Anger is too mild a description for where I am right now. I am not close to that calm over these issues. And tough for Sheaf if he can't deal with someone being direct in expressing frustration. If he is so sensitive he should keep out of the way.

I have been trusting and patient. That time is done...

BTW, I do appreciate your comments as they are intended to help and understand what you are trying to say...but as I say, I am done and fed up...and this "rough patch" has been nearly 9-months long...that is longer lasting than any "patches" used to "fix" the issues.

Actually, he's one of our testers, among the many other jobs he does here at SmugMug :)

You (smugmug) test stuff? News to me! It seems like everything is released as a beta version, ready for your paying subscribers to test.
