Boy, Michael, I've got to give you credit. You'll jump right out there. This shot just blows me away.
Great job, brother,
Tom
Hey Tom Thanks buddy
After posting the lovely and very popular Betty pic I figured I better not
let folks think I was going soft or anything. Found the perfect candidate
to do the job to that end in the same store one isle over.
I don't think my soon to follow flower pics will have near the same impact.
Back to soft for awhile till I can warm something else up. :lift
Don. Thanks for pointing out Patti's work. That one is a neat piece.
Hers certainly tells a heck of a lot more story where as mine is more
of a static visual.
OMG them's mighty bright bones, but might be it been better to test that there plasma plush on an animal stead of that poor guy
Good:D
Neil
hehe yeah pretty bright. Out of the 5 or so versions I did with this, the
version shown here had the loudest appeal. Though I did like at least one
of the others done.
Testing on animals is strickly verboten. I'd burn in hell if I did that
Check this out... Currently under police protection. Or at least was.

Pleased you like this work up. Getting to this result is a little more detailed than I can go into accurately just now. So many single little tweeks in PS push to get it there. Roughly it was a unique to the image look radical curves adjustment for interesting color. Many multiple uses of diffuse anisotropic to twist the texture lines. Levels to push the bright super high. Applied smallish ortinish
effect towards the high key bright, a hit with contrast for some darks and finish with glowing edges. I have tried this several times and no two works necessarily arrive in the same place. Sometimes it works and sometimes... well... not so much. Depends on how much coffee I've had, I think, and how many times I just hit the keyboard willy nilly. I'm sure that helps.
I was afraid to take a look at this after reading the title, but took the chance finally. Surprised me
Very colorful -- different and I like it
Good surprise. Nice.
Glad you took the chance Mary and weren't disappointed with your decision.
Pretty happy that was the case and especially that you said so.

Thanks for saying.
This guy was one day too long in the sun. Be careful out there.
