I had the opportunity to travel back to Africa again this summer. My third trip and I am still enthralled. As I don't live where there is a lot of wildlife (other than crazy drivers!:scratch), I get over excited when I do get the opportunity. This was a great trip, learned a lot more about photography and my camera, which is always a good thing. Enough of me, please meet Stumpy. As you can see, her trunk is deformed but that did not seem to hinder her in anyway. We saw her several times while we were in the Serengti and she did everything all the rest do.

C&C is appreciated. I'm still learning.:whip

Cheers.
C&C always welcome. I can't learn if I don't know what I've done wrong or could do better.

wow, I looked at your site, since you only posted one shot of a elephant here, I didnt know what to expect, but was amazed by the number of awesome photos you took bowdown.gif I dream of someday going on adventures like that, experiencing those places

Some of the shots, it seemed like the light was amazing, like in this shot you took,

I think if you can add that kind of warmth to a shot like this,

It would make it that much better (maybe try turning up the temperature some?)

    I love this picture.
I'm also 'still learning', so I can't offer any useful technical comments on the photo quality. What I can say is that looking at that picture, I can almost feel the heat and smell the dust. And I'm sure I can hear cicadas.

(Had the privilege of living in Zambia in 1976/77. Wish I could go back. And now I'm going to look at the rest of your pictures!)

Thank you for the kind replies. I've only posted one picture so far. They are not all uploaded yet, but hopefully will finish this weekend.
I'll also try your advice racer.

Excellent capture. I hope I can do as well when I go to Africa next year.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. After seeing some of your pictures, that is a high complement in my books. It's difficult NOT to take good pictures in Africa. Just be warned in advance. One trip is not enough!

    Cheers
