Good series of shots. I agree about the lighting. Turn it up just a little and you got it!

I like to subtle background along with the color in the liquid. The last would be really nice if you had the full reflection.
My favorite is the first. The symmetry is pretty cool (along with color and background).

    Nicely done!

Setup is the same as for ordinary droplets. The catch is that the drops fall on exactly same plаcе. This is achieved by the infusion system vith drop flow regulator. The flow drops should be 10 drop / sec, and this is achieved by experience. All you need to do is catch the right moment as shown in this video clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCSuyCPfHCY&feature=related
IMPORTANT! - Shoot only the first two drops, the rest of the droplet upset surface of the water and then there is misses.
All I know I learned from this clip

This is my setup and how to get a "regular" drops with colored background ;)
On paper print your own colors and flash point to it.

Excellent explanation. I've seen a few setups for droplets so was intrigued as to whether yours was similar or differed in any way. It's a similar set up to what I've seen before which is cool .

However, good advice on the catching of the first two drops and the water surface being disturbed. No one else has ever mentioned that.

    Cheers :)
