Was wondering if the color change to orangish and blueish not fit?

    Bit too orange.
Took me a moment to properly parse. Initially his arm and the telephone pole line up so well, it looked like he was impaled!

Yeah. It just looks like crappy white balance. Does not look like a purposeful colorization. Cool shot though.

I don't know, with the green sky and alll, are you going for the look of an old color photo?

That's a problem with digital I think. You try to introduce some sort of "flaw" like one might find with film, but people just think your WB is wrong. If you could say, "oh, but actually I shot this with my Holga" then people would tell you how cool the shot looks.

One of the reason's I'm not sure I want to spend any money on the various programs out there that make your digital image look like film.

But yes, the arm does look pretty weird when you first look at the photo.:D

For me, I'd say the color shift isn't really a problem.

I like it better natural. If you want to work on it why not clone out the telephone pole and the wires - shouldn't be that hard.

You're going to love CS5. Try "content-aware" healing or fill. Makes jobs like this much faster.
