We caught a nice sunset. I don't often get a good view of the Tillamook rock lighthouse.

The last one is stunning!! I had the pleasure of visiting that location when I was a kid, and am anxious to be able to go back :)

very nice. reminds me i need to get down there sometime before the weather turns crappy...

that lighthouse was decommissioned and purchased by private investors who turned it into a columbarium in 1980, but the columbarium license was revoked in 1999, and it is now simply an historic site.

Thanks for all the nice words. I am unable to edit the title to fix the spelling error but you locals know what I meant. :)

Talk about a great dream photo shoot location, eh? I'm guessing the birds have created some interesting "art" out of that lighthouse. If you're interested, there's a pretty cool book written by one of the original lighthouse keepers. That crew had to get there by boat and it sounded pretty dicey and lonely on that rock as you can imagine!
