This was taken earlier this year during a business trip.
Hint: It is a historical site in the U.S.

Alamo. North side of the Long Barrack from inside the courtyard?

Is the giant tree still there?

The first shot shows the courtyard wall, which is not part of the original structure, and was built after the seige.

David_S85 knows his landmarks and his history! The Alamo it is. You have identified the loctions of the photos as well. Yes the large tree was still there in the court yard. There were so many people around it though I did not even bother taking a picture. Thanks guys for playing along.

You didn't see me sitting on one of the benches under the tree with my camera?

Actually, I wasn't sure about my answer with the first picture. The wall's stone just didn't look right. The second shot nailed it though with that little window.

I was there in '95 or '96, and got video of the place (except in the small chapel where it's prohibited). Did you eat at one of the restaurants on the Riverwalk? Or ride up the needle at the old fair site?

I like that "Crockett Hotel" sign just peeking over the west wall entrance there in the last shot. The Alamo fortress was his last hotel.

Haha, interesting, something ha me guessing the Alamo too. Never even seen pictures of it before, that I recall. I think it was the cactus that did it.
