LightBox Close Button: Bug in IE7?

The LightBox "Close" button was recently supplanted by the new Tweet/Like buttons and moved from inline with other top-line nav elements, to floating at far right. In Firefox & Chrome it's OK in the top right corner; but in IE7 it's on the second line -- why? Is this a bug?

    This is happening on every LightBox on every SmugMug site I've tried.

    Did you try mine? OK in FF and IE8 but can't try IE7. Even iPhone words.

    Allen - I see that you've customized your Close button, but in IE7 it still appears on the second line, kind of hanging down from the right end of the light gray box containing your nav elements:

    ...whereas in FF the Close button is enclosed in the box:

    Is your browser zoom at 100%?

    Yes, 100% (as shown in screenshots above).

    I see the same thing on my 15" laptop. Hmmm, baffling...

    I removed the button top/bottom padding for IE7, work now?

    Sorry, no change in IE7. Close button still on 2nd line.

    P.S. And I did clear my cache first.

    I, too, have experienced the LightBox "close button" bug since some point last month. The following CSS fixes it for IE7 and IE8 without impacting other browsers:
    .lightboxCloseButton {#margin-top:-20px;}
