Ft. Worth Night Shots

I had a lapse of good sense the other night, and decided to go out to shoot some night shots around Ft. Worth. After shooting one of the locations, I got back into my car at 11:15pm. The ambient temperature was still 100 degrees!!!

I shot at several locations around town and will post as I get some more processed. I even HAD to finally use my fancy tripod ~ Yuck!

1) College campus downtown - you've seen this location before from me, but not an evening shot. Might be my last shots of this location ~ police ran me off stating that photography is prohibited here. It wasn't worth arguing over :scratch

    Howdy Randy,

Really came away with some wonderful images but those last 2 really
shine. Especially that last one, is just stellar, and love the perspective and
getting that Full Moon in the Shot. I think you need to send that one to Borofsky, he'd love it.

I am so impressed that you finally used your Tripod, it was definitely
worth lugging it around in the 100degree heat.
    Take care,

    Craig

    Hey Craig,

Yeah, I liked how that last shot turned out. I almost got run over taking it though, I was in the middle of the street. Good thing it was late at night.

Well, I guess I've gotten my monies worth out of that tripod, one nights shooting with it in two years rolleyes1.gif

Nice set of photos Randy. Shooting in the heat isn't fun, but getting these kinds of shots makes it worth while thumb.gif

Ah, Fort Worth . . . wonderful series, Randy. My favorite is #5--I'd love to hang that one on my wall! Where is briefcase man? I haven't seen him before.
