Sorting in galleries

Hello -

Does anyone know how to make the sort setting in a gallery "sticky" i.e., if I sort the photos once in descending order of date and time taken, why do I have to do this again next time I visit the gallery ?

Why is the sort setting not sticky or am I missing some magic, hidden setting?

Are you setting the Autosort in the gallery settings page? That should stick until changed once saved.
