OK, I feel like I just stepped of the saucer from Mars.

Is there supposed to be a video on one of those links?

rolleyes1.gif Sorry, should have explained better.

1st link was the schedule, 2nd link (I think) where it will be aired .... eventually .... (or maybe it will be aired here: http://creativelive.com/live/ ... not sure)

She'll start shooting at 1pm Seattle time .... so check those links again a bit later today (> depending on you time zone thumb.gif)

Btw, is it just me, or dos she have the dates on her blog all mixed up?? Would be hilarious if she screwed up the dates and missed the wedding >>>> NOOOT. That's why I hate Friday / Sunday weddings. And having a weekend off during the summer months gives me nightmares, haha! I always think I screwed something up and forgot to put a wedding into my calendar. My goodness, haha! That would be sooo bad.

Same thing I was thinking, I am paranoid about dropping my camera

Phone as watch, all the cool people are doing it

Wonder if there is extra light for the video broadcast as I have not noticed flashes yet.headscratch.gif

+ she said ISO 500 (not a full stop incriment) and F4.5 1/125th... interesting.

    Favorite quote so far...
    To the bridesmaids:
"Those of you in the short dresses... you gotta sell the legs."

She did?? I missed it rolleyes1.gif I was surprised she didn't care about the groomsmen boobs ... (open jackets + arm around the person next to you always gives you that weird "jacket-shape")

I'm surprised she didn't take them outside ... I understand nice light (and I'm assuming there is nothing better outside), but with everything going on in the room, I don't know ... ne_nau.gif

I found the video very interesting. She is obviously a gifted person as well as a talented photographer, but I did have trouble following a couple of things.

I wonder if she has massive dust or smudge issues with her images. She keeps the lenses in her bag without the front or rear caps. Of course she sure can change lenses fast. :D

She would comment on her settings but seemed to shoot everything wide open altering only the ISO and letting the shutter speed fall where ever?

She used partial ISO settings? I never heard her mention an ISO over 500?

Not trying to be critical...............just wondering...............

OH and yes I learned a few things.

Actually she mentioned pretty much all of that in the last "confessional" time. She uses a UV filter on the front But keeps the caps off for quick change... I don't know about the dust.
I noticed the partial ISO thing too, and she mentioned that she is used to not having the High ISO capabilities, and automatically goes to slow sh utter speed low ISO before bumping it...

She seems totally flustered, but I wonder if the Video is making it stronger than normal... Though I have my moments, I have to admit. I do have to crack up at the comments she doesn't realize are on tape... And am so glad I don't have a microphone attached to me while I shoot weddings. That would stink.

Ahhh...a wierd effect on focus/recompose with the choppy video /audio.

Heather is she shooting an 85 1.2?

Edit: was a 50mm. I better watch it through.
