Printmark Trouble?

I am debating about turning on the new Printmark (you guys have turned me into a marking machine). I was not able to get it to work. I was trying to use http://photos.bradfordbenn.com/Links/SmugMugCustomization/10266745_fy8qm#708555389_BQLT6-A-LB as the Printmark. However when I selected it and the preview did not show it. Is there a step I missed? I named it but it did not show up.

What I was trying to understand was two things:

1) Does it show in the gallery?
2) What is the ratio of size of Printmark to Print?

Your mark is too-light, try making one that will show up better on photos. You can see how big it will be by looking at the preview.

Thanks. I did not see it. Thinking about a Blurb book for my mom's birthday and thinking about how to sign the prints.... I will go back and tweak some.

Trying to do it myself. I made the png file 1500x1000, and here is what was uploaded:


But when I add it to even a 4x6, is shows up teenyweeny...

What am I doing wrong?

Hoof, that's not a printmark png file. That's a 1500x996 file of whitespace. Try again?

I see his signature "HoofClix.com 2010" (in white text) on it. I'm using the Sand bkgd in DGrin.

Doesn't matter, Anna Lisa. Here's my printmark. It shouldn't be 1500x1000 pixels.

I just thought you couldn't see it.... thought maybe it was cuz you're using a very light theme on DGrin. I almost didn't see it myself. Yeah, I see what you mean now.

OK, I have it correct now. The error of my way was when I read in the help section that "This is similar to making a watermark..." which I would make by creating blank space as an overlay before putting my watermark wording on the blank space. Maybe the help section could be slightly reworded, but I shouldn't need that page from here on out!

Now here's to hoping Nikolai can quickly include this in Star Explorer to it can be used in multiple gallery creation. Nik, does my worship smiley here help that along??bowbowbow Seven worshipping smilies to help you along...
