Cool shots. The refraction in the first one originally had me thinking it was an eye.

the last frame needed exposure compensation to compensate for white background

background is the clock itself ,
so , that would effect the refractions too , or not ?
btw
i used only one flash-light , off camera for more distance
the other highlights come from my window

yes, but the stem and drops look quite dark, underexposed.
just alter the exposure of the stem frames before stacking.

no , i tried
i could , but it would involve a lot masking , copying and more editing
i think that the actual photo must be correct first [ light an so ]
give better result than editing too much
white clock in dark drops is good IMO , but i agree on background
thanks Phil
