Unexpected fruit

So I found out that Lily of the Valley will set fruit in certain circumstances. I only discovered this as a result of doing a lifecycle study of them this year. Only a few plants produced berries, but here's how it goes -

Lovely sequence- must say I've never noticed fruits on mine but suspect I've not really looked.
