How to hide old favorites so that new favorites will be display

Is there an easy way to hide the old favorites without hiding the complete gallery that they are located?

What do you mean by a favorite? A featured gallery? Popular photos? Or?

Unfortunately the only way to reset the popular count for a photo is to replace that photo.

I would love to be able to control the order of the popular photos, but that's not an option either.
