A great set of images. #1 is my favorite, a classic composition and interpretation of wild flowers in the landscape.

Hey Mahesh! Great to see you posting again. Looks like the wildflowers are in their full bloom, and you got some fantastic clouds on Rainier.

Ron gave me a very strong argument to get the 16-35, and your images are pushing in that direction, too. lol3.gif

I really like these shots - all the pictures of Ranier lately have got me wanting to go.

Is the sky darkened in your pictures? If so, did you use a filter to achieve the effect?

Sweet series Mahesh - glad to see you were able to make it up to the park while the wildflowers were still around. The first is my favorite, love the foreground and the light hitting the Tatoosh!

Thanks everyone! Feels good to be shooting and posting again. :)

Red Zone, the dark sky in the first shot is from combining bracketed exposures. It's just like using a grad ND filter.

Schmoo, the 16-35 II is worth every penny!

Absolutely superb series. Fave is number one, with the great light, perspective, colors and comp. It really draws me in.
