Doing great guys.
I'm beginning to think that this one will be much harder to judge than the B&W challenges.
So many shots that are so dead on the theme ... it's going to be tough.
The way this theme came about was, the wife and I were on a road trip during the last mini challenge.
I got the Ipod going and the Moody Blues song "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock And Roll Band" came on.
There's a line in that song that goes, "a thousand pictures can be drawn from a word" so I thought,
if I ever win another Mini, something like that could be fun. I didn't think I'd be using it so fast though.
I was going to just pick one word, but then I realized that is pretty much how a regular challenge goes.
So, thinking of a band, that's been around for a good number of years would have a lot of songs.
Pink Floyd, with their wide range of titles, I figured would be a good choice.
So, this challenge is about Pink Floyd titles, but it was inspired by a Moody Blues song.
Well, I hadn't planned to add anything, but when this showed up in the sky tonight, I figured what the heck.
btw... the dragonflies were thick. All those black spots... dragonflies. Not a one sat still for me today.
Ok, so spent a little time in Brussels during this mini-challenge, and figured I'd try to only use shots from that trip for this. There's a giant iron atom on the edge of the city that could be a perfect fit for either Atom Heart Mother or A Suaucerful of Secrets. Unfortunately, too many of my images work for too many of these song titles, with some titles having several images, and some images having several titles. Part of me wants to tell how I interpret each image to the title, but I don't want to taint your own perspectives.
1. Time
2. Breathe
3. Point Me at the Sky
4. Speak to Me
I'd add more, but the limit's three, and I've already gone over that. Still, these are mostly titles I haven't seen on here often yet, and a lot of people only posted one or two entries, so I think that balances out my overages.
