Great Light
Went to the Water Ranch Riparian Preserve in Gilbert AZ last night. Just as I arrived a torrential thunderstorm began. I was able to shelter myself and my equipment under the small bird blind that was available. The storm lasted about 20 minutes, but when it ended the light was unbelievable and the birds returned.

I've had similar experiences with passing storms. The birds seem disorientated for some time afterwards and tend to flock together. They want to stay on the ground more...some defense mechanism...I assume. At least that has been my experience.
Thanks Ric. I shot these at ISO 1000 (hand held) to gain some extra speed, which clearly detracted from the quality. The light was amazing. I posted a double rainbow on the Landscape Forum if you want to take a peek.:D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
