Double Rainbow and Great Light

I got caught in an AZ monsoon last night at the Water Ranch Riparian Preserve. I managed to get shelter under a small bird blind, but when the rain stopped I was rewarded with great light and a double rainbow.

These are all great but that egret shot is amazing! Fantastic light.

I wish we had storms like that up here in the northwest. You've learned an important lesson - it's better to be outside in a storm and miserable and come away with good photos then inside and comfortable and wonder what the photos would have looked like had you stayed outside

I need to find a way to be out in a storm and not be miserable . I was lucky this time with the bird blind for some protection. Mostly I was concerned with keeping the equipment dry. You are absolutely right Ron. You have to be willing to be out there. That is clearly one of the reasons why you get the shots that you do.
