Magpie - Pattern Baldness

Never did imagine that I would run across a Black-billed Magpie with a severe case of pattern baldness, but..... here's the proof. Poor fellow.

    that may be a she bird that has been very lucky in the mating dept. :D that's why she let you get that close

    No way, Jose. There's no way I would have been married 42 years if I pulled her hair out everytime we........

    Funny shot Dixie and one of the few birds shots I've seen where the photographer was right above the bird.

    Easy shot, Harry. He was in an overlook parking lot begging for handouts. I was digging out my camera after pulling in and he thought that I was going to give him something. When the next car pulled in, he ran over to them. Little beggar.
