new to smugmug

Hi all hope your all well.

i noticed alot of people on here using smugmug and alot of people have reccomended using it.

so i took the leap and signed up to the free accound for now.
and oh my days i really like it alot very easy to use straight forward and some sexy looks too.
i only used the site for an hour or so (due to going to work) so sorry if the questions have been explained elswhere (i cant go on smugmug at work they have banned it as social networking

i noticed there is a payment option for people to purchase pictures and prints as well as downloads. my confusion (and forgive me as i can go through the help topics due to our IT department) is if someone purchases say a picture do i have to get it printed then send it to them or is this part of the smugmug process and they do it.
also what happens with payment do they only get charged for the print or do i recieve a % of it.

can we have any background music playing whilst the people are viewing ??
and just for the record thanks for building this site i really like it alot

When people purchase prints, the payments go to EZPrints for printing and are sent directly to the orderer. If you are a Pro, you can mark up your prints and use a professional lab (Bay Photo).

so if people buy prints how do you make money from it if it goes to ezprint

As a pro, you're charged a base price and then you can set whatever price you with to charge. You can get the difference.
