He was outside my front door. My wife suggested I shoot some shots, so I did. Then she told me to move it away from the wall so I could get a better shot. Then she came outside and gently moved it so I could shoot it. After the session we gently put her back where she was when we found her. They seem to come every summer, and I find them in the same exact place.
Thanks in part to this forum, I am no longer afraid of them. This one was about the size of my hand. I shot it with the 100 mm f/2.8 at about 18" with an EX 580 II and diffuser.

Thanks Brian. They are actually quite tame, and their venom is not lethal to humans.
