Two of these shots are single images, and one an eight layer stack. The flash apparently irritated this guy, and as soon as I started shooting, he'd get all jittery and wave his antennae and front legs around. I think the images were recorded right at life size. The Tamron 90 was racked out all the way. I have to quit holding my breath or this macro stuff is going to kill me. And no, that's not a sensemilla bud. It's mint.
