Morro Bay

Well, the marine layer was thick for most of our visit to Morro Rock, it cleared up just as we were leaving, so some of the best locations I had for shooting you couldn't even see the rock for the fog. But here's some of my best shots, anyway (around Morro Bay, not just the rock). Click on pics for EXIF:

Very cool David, one of my favorites places... I'm over there every chance I have.

If you ever see the Sub Sea tours dock, they have a couple of my pictures up in their window for advertising. Great folks to go out on the water with.

Neat pics, David! (and yes, your parents are cute...I love how they are holding hands like teenagers~)

I've been to Morro Bay a *few* times, too (we live in Central CA abt. 2 1/2 hours from the coast)...and we've also gone on the Sub Sea Tours bay cruise (they have glass sides on their boat below sea level...really cool). Ed, I missed noticing your pics at their office, but I'll be sure and check them out next trip over there. I've been wanting to do one of their whale watching tours (VERY reasonable prices compared to other places).

Here's a few of my favorite pics from Morro Bay ~

    Awwwww (your parental units)

Morro Bay was the first place I went with the brand-new 10D and 70-200f4L two years ago. Shooting in program mode mostly without a clue, but I liked this one.

Thanks all. Love seeing your shots. Anyone want to post more? The whole Pismo/Morro/Montana de Oro trip was fantastic.

    Cool, Ed.

Always loved that surfer shot. The others are new to me. Love the light on the rock, and the view of the power plant.
