Like buttons not showing

and I am still not seeing the buttons - (really ALL of them!)

Am I missing something? I am in smugmug style - I have the easy sharing button ON in the control panel......

There is a global setting and a gallery setting that both need to be turned on. The global setting is found in the Control Panel in the Settings tab and it is called Quick Share. There is also an gallery setting called Easy sharing in the Social section.

can anyone tell me how to KEEP the Facebook icon on the bottom and take away the "share" button on the top?

Just add the following to your css

#shareButton { display: none; }

I would add the .notLoggedIn so you can use it logged in.

All display copies have the watermark. Only original doesn't.

I just went through this learning process this evening, then I popped in here to see if other's had any more to add, and I find a few of these threads asking the same thing. Maybe there should be a "Facebook Like Button" thread put up top with a sticky so that folks might just read that one right when they get here...

As an added note, I have had external links turned off for my galleries as another step against Facebook photo theft, but now I realize that my very explicit watermark would be on both a screen capture and an image copied via external link.. So, I see no advantage to turning off external links, and lots of advantages via Facebook to have them turned on...

I've been on vacation for a few weeks, and came home with a massive sinus infection and a very sick father to deal with, so that is my excuse for the following dumb questions!!

I have the Like buttons showing up. I see them. My husband says he has clicked Like on a number of my vacation photos, but I don't see any indication that he has on his Facebook page. As a matter of fact, I don't see any indication that I have liked a photo of mine, or of his, on his smugmug page showing up on my facebook page.

Am I not looking in the right place? Are other friends seeing things that I don't? Am I just vacation and medication fogged and hopelessly clueless? I have asked others to click Like for me to reap the obvious benefits of this option, but I am not seeing anything...
