I'm working on my business branding. I'm trying out a new watermark but I can't seem to get the right opacity...the right level of blending in. Can you take a look at these images in this gallery and tell me what you think?

The top option in this blog post is what I'm considering now. Let me know what you think Art:

I love your photos!
I think your watermark is fine. You may want to make it a little larger and more transparent. Also you might want to add the copyright symbol and the year the picture was taken.

I agree with this. More transparent is good as you can still see the image underneath. I had done the same thing, except I also added a bit of a "bevel" edge to make up a bit for the extreme transparency so it still indicates its presence. You can see a samples of what I did here:

Hmmm, I guess I was visualizing it in the bottom-right corner with the © date and your name underneath it. If you go the more transparent/bevel route (sort of like mine), you could probably get away with making it slightly larger than your smallest white version that was at the bottom-middle...? Whichever size or position, I do recommend more transparency for sure. Just my thoughts...

The problem with small, in the corner WMs, is that its too easy for people to make a clean, stolen, version;

@ Art: I'm torn because clients said they hate it when they are trying to look at a photo to decide whether or not to buy it but a watermark directly in the center of the image makes it difficult to see it clearly or distracts them. I'm not sure how to get around that, but I will consider a tiled effect.
