Lincoln Park Sunset

I've lived in Seattle for 10 years, yet I've never visited Lincoln Park in West Seattle. It was time to rectify that oversight. This evening, my wife, our two dogs, and I drove to Lincoln Park and hiked down to the beach. The clouds were rolling in and made beautiful patterns in the sky. I positioned myself to include the Vashon Island ferry in the foreground and angled my wide angle lens upward to give the overhead clouds that "sweeping" effect. The above image was the best of my efforts. In the image, I like how there is some clear sky just above the ferry. Another beautiful summer evening in the Seattle area.

I will have to put this park on my list for my next trip to Seattle. I live in Spokiane, but can figure out how to get that to show here on my profile even though I have it checked. Very nice shot and the sky really cooperated with you.
