The powers that be have just introduced some non-dangerous wildlife into a little reserve, about a km (as the crow flies) from where I live. I'm really looking for a clean shot of the zebras with the city as a backdrop, especially with spring in the air.
I'm curious, though... isn't the non-dangerous wildlife food for the dangerous kind? Is there a likelihood that your zebras-in-the-park could attract lions or hyenas to the same park?

That is really neat to have that type of wild life close to the city, nice images.

Thanks Lindiwe!
The chances of lions and Spotted Hyenas getting here are rather small, as there are many miles of fenced off farmland between areas where they roam freely and here. There have been sightings of Brown Hyena in the north of the city, but they are solitary nocturnal scavengers. We also have jackals wondering around, but they'd never be able to take a zebra down.
Very good captures Al and welcome to the ranks of the retired. If you need any tips on doing nothing let me know. I have that mastered. :cavig

Pretty cool Al are they getting accustomed to people ?
Thanks Jeff - I think they have to be as the road through the reserve is used by joggers and recreational cyclists. The tracks in the veld () are used by mountain bikers.

Nice to see you posting, Al.
What quaint little village is that?

One of the mares has just foaled, but I haven't had a chance to get a pic of the foal yet.
